CUSTOMER KNIFE DESIGNER COLLABORATES WITH MARBLE'S
Marble’s Cutlery LLC is pleased to announce an agreement has been reached with highly regarded custom knife maker Steven Kelly to collaboratively design, manufacture, and market a line of high quality performance hunting and utility knives.
Steve, who resides and works in the mountains of Montana is an avid outdoorsman, hunter, and fisherman and knows full well the value of quality functional and durable cutlery.
In making the announcement George T. Brinkley, Chairman of Marble’s said.
“We are delighted to be associated with someone of Steve’s proven ability. He is a passionate knife maker with the skills to make his vision of a good working tool a practical reality. His lifelong love of Marble’s makes this the perfect match between custom maker and factory and forges a partnership will enable a much wider audience to use and appreciate Steve’s work. In 1995 as President of W.R. Case and Sons Cutlery Company I had the opportunity to initiate the first factory/custom collaboration with Tony Bose, one of the world’s premier folding knife makers, a highly successful program that makes me appreciate the potential value of custom and factory alliances.
The Marble’s “Trailmate”, a unique caper design is now in the initial stages of pre-production and due to be available in late October 2007. |
