In the July-August 1914 "Marble's Monthy Message," Webster Marble wrote about the measure of a man. The following is from that message.
The measure of a man is his ability to see opportunity. The quality of the man determines wheather or not he will act upon the Opportunity he sees. Those who see Opportunity and act indifferently stay in the rut. Those who niether see nor act are hopeless. Those who see Opportunity and act quickly, vigorously, or conservatively as the occasion demands reap success. Keep a sharp eye out for Opportunity then act!
